When I asked Amanda if she wanted to write about her boudoir session with me, she was thrilled to share about her experience. Here is her story, written by Amanda, herself.

My name is Amanda, and I want to share my boudoir photoshoot experience with anyone who may be considering it.

I always knew I wanted to do a boudoir shoot, but I kept waiting until I was 10 pounds lighter, or until my hair was the perfect color, etc.

I realized if you keep waiting, you will never do it. So I thought, just go for it, girl!

Boudoir is actually an instant confidence booster. I felt so comfortable and confident before, during, and after my session!

I am normally someone who picks herself apart when I see a photo of myself, so I did everything I could to prepare and help me feel less nervous.

Doing all of these things helped me feel confident: Spray tan, picking out my favorite lingerie and outfits, getting my nails and toes done, and of course hair and makeup!

I did this as a gift for my significant other for Valentine’s Day. He LOVED THEM. He would not stop talking about them, and he adored how the little black album turned out.

Robyn made sure that I LOVED my photos before she finalized everything. She took the time and care to edit them exactly how I wanted them. As someone who can be picky about photos, I appreciated that a lot.

I recommend that even if you don't have a significant other, then do it for YOU!

The experience of getting my hair and makeup done, listening to my favorite music, putting on my favorite outfit, and posing was so much fun! Robyn was amazing at making me feel comfortable.

She even knew all of the right poses to best fit my needs. Personally, I wanted to look slimmer, and she knew how to pose me in ways that did just that.

I’m so glad I did this! I LOVE my photos.
